Horsham suffered the blow of losing 4 key players to injury before the trip to Eastbourne yet still had enough chances to overcome a physical home side. Despite 3 first half bookings for Eastbourne, it was they who took the lead and, within 5 minutes of the restart, they doubled their advantage. Horsham responded well but it wasn't to be their day even after a late strike gave the Hornets hope.
