With only our second game of 2010, and just our third home league game of the season, it was great to come away with a win from this Arun & Chichester League match against Lancing Rangers.

Horsham started the game brightly and took the lead with a great strike from 20 yards by Connor Cushing in the 6th minute. Horsham played some nice football which resulted in Stanley Rice getting Horsham's second goal after 17 minutes before Lancing conceded a penalty in the 24th minute which was nicely put away by Jacob Waller.

Lancing got out of the starting blocks first in the second half with a goal within the first 45 seconds but Horsham soon regained control of the game with Stanley getting his second goal. Lancing kept on coming forward but Horsham's defence stood tall and kept Lancing out with some good defending.

In the last 10 minutes Zak Comber got a hat- trick with the first in the 60th minute. His second was 2 minutes later and he then completed it with a penalty in added time.
