Horsham's U13s returned to their winning ways for the Challenge Cup Semi final against Sidlesham. Horsham started the game with determination and penetrative runs that could have seen them 2-0 up within the first 5 minutes. Throughout the first half, Sidlesham were pressed back into their own half and rarely threatened Horsham thanks to a strong and well organised back line of Kenworthy, Manton, Osborn and Ruz. The strength and supply from Horsham’s midfield provided a steady flow of through balls to the Horsham forwards, with Callum Nash Finding the net to put Horsham 1-0 up. Shortly after the first goal the persistent pressure from Horsham proved too much for Sidlesham and midfielder Ed Goacher bagged Horsham a second goal.

The second half saw Siddlesham enter the game with renewed vigour but, once again, Horsham always had an answer to their attacks. Other than one shot that hit the post from long range, a Sidlesham reply never came. Final result was a two goal win for Horsham that saw them progress to the final.
