The U12s showed what they are capable of with a
good win against a Midhurst & Easebourne that had scored 12 and
conceded only 3 in their previous 3 games.
The Hornets enjoyed the majority of the possession
but, despite creating numerous chances, found themselves 1-0 down at
the break with what was the hosts' only shot of the first half.
"Same again" was the half-time instruction and the
Hornets got their just reward when Finn Bigg levelled the scores and
he bagged his second after more pressure and some great passing
throughout the young Hornets' side.
Jack Reeves got the third from the edge of the box
before Midhurst capitalised on a lapse of concentration to make it
3-2. However, Horsham would have the final say when sub Nik Bristow's
deflected goal sealed the win.
This was a great improvement from the lads after
back to back defeats and we've yet to field their strongest eleven !
Keep it up lads !!!
