PREVIEW:
John Maggs has named an unchanged side for Thursday's visit to bottom of the table Waltham Abbey as the Hornets go in search of another 3 points that would lift them in to the top 5 of the Ryman League Premier Division.

Tuesday's narrow victory over another of this season's struggling sides, Bognor Regis Town, confirmed Maggs' thoughts that no club can be taken for granted, as Wealdstone found to their recent cost when they relinquished a 2 goal lead to lose 2-4 at home to the Abbotts for whom the result landed them the Vandanel Team Performance of the Month award for February.

Sadly for the Premier Division newcomers, results such as this have been few and far between in this debut campaign and they currently sit 9 points adrift of safety, albeit with 2 games in hand. Conflicting desires for maximum points, then, for the 2 sides who will be meeting at the Capershotts stadium for a first-ever time.

Oddly, there are 2 sides who have scored less league goals than Waltham Abbey and an incredible 5 teams who have conceded more, including second placed Kingstonian ! A repeat of the Hornets' 2-1 win in January would see Horsham overcome the 50 goal mark in league competition while, at the same time, registering the 50th conceded by Waltham Abbey. With the risk of jinxing things, the most unlikely of results would surely be a goalless draw as the 2 sides have managed just 6 league shut-outs between them, of which just a solitary clean sheet has been recorded by the Abbotts.

Claude Seanla has been declared fit to play, after it was revealed that his withdrawal towards the end of Tuesday night's match was for nothing more serious than cramp but Alex Haddow misses the match due to work committments.
