Bristow's goal lands
league & cup double
27/4/11 |

A first half goal from leading scorer Nick Bristow was
enough to take the U13s to victory over Middleton
Diamonds A on Tuesday evening and secure a league and
cup double for Richard Wootton's side. Bristow's 23rd
goal of the season was reward for a fairly dominant
display from the young Hornets with Middleton failing to
threaten their opponents' goal until the closing stages.
Well done to Richard, Jason Reeves and the players on a
superb achievement.

The Horsham Youth
management would like to say a massive 'well done' to
Horsham Youth U/14 on reaching the final of the Arun &
Chichester League Cup after today's 3-0 victory over
Highdown Saints. Special congratulations go to Barry
Nash and Duncan Norris for their hard work that began
back in the summer in putting the side together and
assembling a competitive group of lads who have enjoyed
their football this season under the new management. The
side were left high and put out to dry when the former
manager left for Crawley, taking the heart of the squad
with him, but those who stuck by the Club have turned in
to a cracking side which we are sure will grow and grow.
We are delighted that we now have 2 sides through to cup
finals this season, with the U14s joining Ian Meadows'

fantastic work that Ian and his coaching staff of Andy

them the best of luck for the final against Hawks Youth

Horsham stay top despite
early setback
14/11/10 |
|
The
U15s were Horsham's only youth representatives in action
today, on a day on which the weather put paid to dozens
of matches across the county, and they were probably
regretting the referee's decision to play their Sussex
Sunday Youth League game at Hastings Town Minors after
finding themselves 2-0 down after 11 minutes. However,
goals from Stanley Rice, George Hole and Tom Barnes
turned the match around by half-time before Zak Comber
added a 4th for the league leaders.

Horsham lads impress in
County loss
17/10/10 |

We congratulate Max Love and Cieran Towse for their

Goalkeeper Towse made several saves to ensure his side

scoring the other, but it was the West Country side who
were the stronger and eventually ran out 5-2 winners. |
