The
Page brothers suffered an afternoon of conflicting fortunes as
Horsham concluded their league programme with a 1-1 draw
against Cray Wanderers. The Hornets enjoyed the better of the
first half and deservedly led at the break, through a rare
goal from Jack Page, but were grateful to Mark Zawadski for
several fine saves on his first start for the club. Horsham's
attacking threat fell away after the withdrawal of Tony
Nwachukwu and they were made to pay in the final minute when
Sam Page brought down George Parker and Simon Osborn levelled
from the spot. Richard Morgan might have snatched all 3 points
for the home side when he sent a header against the crossbar.
