Langton has spoken to Hornets Review to give his thoughts on
Horsham legend Gary Charman after his reported exit from Eastbourne
Borough this weekend.
"I think it appropriate that I should respond to the news
about Gary's departure from Eastbourne because I know from all
the texts and Tweets that I've been getting that it's something
that has excited Horsham supporters since the news broke earlier
today" said Hugo.
"Gary is a player I admire greatly and he came across as
a top bloke when Justin (Luchford) and I met with him in the summer.
We had a long conversation with him about his future, and his
honesty and passion made it clear just how much the club meant
to him. He has rightly become a legend at this club for his many
years of outstanding service and I know how much of a wrench it
was for him to make his decision to move on but he did what was
right for him at the time. Of course, I would love for him to
return to Horsham Football Club right now but as things stand
I'm not in a position financially where I can make him a realistic
offer and I refuse to embarrass him by only offering him expenses."
