                                                    Howie hits the headlines

The brainchild of the Horsham Independent Supporters' Club, affable Club mascot Howie the Hornet has travelled the breadth of the countryside appearing in competitions, fetes and generally helping to heighten the profile of Horsham Football Club. The 2006 Mascot Grand National
Howie's debut in the country's ultimate mascot competition - the Grand National !
Taking place at Huntingdon Racecourse, on 24th September 2006, Howie put in a sterling effort to finish
in the middle of the pack behind winner Mickey the Monkey
