Howie hits the headlines
The brainchild of the Horsham Independent Supporters' Club, affable Club
mascot Howie the Hornet has travelled the breadth of the countryside
appearing in competitions, fetes and generally helping to heighten the
profile of Horsham Football Club. Some of his exploits have even made the

Bovril
Howie was featured in a series of adverts for Bovril (this one appeared in the Daily Mirror in October 2006)
The 2006 Mascot Grand National
Howie's debut in the country's ultimate
mascot competition - the Grand National ! Taking place at Huntingdon Racecourse,
on 24th September 2006, Howie put in a sterling effort to finish in the middle
of the pack behind winner Mickey the Monkey you can watch a video of the race

He's Howie the Olympian
