Horsham FC 'Player of the Month'
sponsored by Unison Projects Ltd

OUR MISSION

This season sees the long overdue return of the HISC Player of the Month award. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Unison Projects Ltd, members are invited to vote for the First Team player they think has contributed most to the side during the course of the previous month.

January 2009

New signing Claude Seanla made an immediate impact at his new club, scoring four goals in four games, to earn himself the January Player of the Month award. The former Spurs striker hit a hat-trick against Sutton United in the League Cup and bagged his first League goal for the Hornets in the win at Hastings United. He is pictured above with loyal fan Phil Martin before the match with Hendon.

February 2009

'Legendary' Horsham penalty-taker Peter Kersley presents goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey with the February award for his displays throughout a generally successful month in which we reached the quarter-finals of the League and Senior Cups. Rob's four clean sheets in five League games also helped us climb to 8th place in the table, our highest position since September.

March 2009

Teenager Tony Nwachukwu was rewarded for some exciting displays down the wing this season by the presentation of a bottle of bubbly from loyal supporter (Colonel) Brian 'The Horn' Welch at the match v Tooting & Mitcham. U18s star Tony broke in to the side in October and has made the most of his opportunity to become a regular in John Maggs' squad.
